Apple said that Siri is an iPhone 4S ONLY feature and they don’t plan on bringing it to ‘older’ devices, some developers managed to fully port it to the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4. Unfortunately, they can distribute the port because of legal reasons , but somebody managed to distribute the next best thing: Siri dictation.
- You’ll need a jailbroken iPhone 4 or 3GS running iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1.
- Add this sources in Cydia : http://apt.if0rce.com
- Then search for Siri0us and install it.
- You’re done. You can now use Siri dictation right from anywhere your iPhone. Open notes, for example, and hit the dictation button to use it.
