Download custom firmware iPhone 3Gs /Activated ——> Run latest Redsn0w and don’t select anything just follow the orders.
Download custom firmware iPhone 3Gs /Unactivated —> {FileSonic | Hotfile}

2- iREB R4 (mac users Should use DFU tab Option in PwnageTool and follow instrument )

Guide :
1. Connect your phone with PC and switch off
2. Open iREB R4 and follow olders
3-After that open itunes and press “Shift + Restore” and choose custom firmware 4.3.3 (Alt + Restore for Mac Users)
it will finish very quickly
4-Finally you can see your phones is with your old Baseband. now just you can install the ultrasn0w 1.2.3 from Cydia

Booting in Tethered Mode (Mac Users)
This is tethered jailbreak so you have to run this small tetheredboot utility by following these steps.
- Download and Extract the tethered boot .zip file . [Download tetheredboot.zip]
- we need two files from the custom iOS 4.3.5 firmware namely:kernelcache.release.n90 and iBSS.n90ap.RELEASE.dfu. To do this, make a copy of your custom iOS 4.3.5 file that you created above, change the extension of this file from .ipsw to .zip, and then extract this .zip file.
Now copy kernelcache.release.n90 file, and then copy iBSS.n90ap.RELEASE.dfufiles which are found under /Firmware/dfu/.
Move all these files, and tetheredboot utility to a new folder named “tetheredboot” on the desktop.
Commands
Turn off your iOS device, and start Terminal on OS X and run the following commands:
sudo -s
enter your administrator password, then:
/Users/Tech/Downloads/tetheredboot/tetheredboot
/Users/Tech/Downloads/tetheredboot/iBSS.n90ap.RELEASE.dfu
/Users/Tech/Downloads/tetheredboot/kernelcache.release.n90
You need to replace “Tech” with the name of the directory on your PC.
If the command given above does not work you can always try ‘tetheredboot -i ibss -k kernel’ instead of ‘tetheredboot ibss kernel’:
/Users/Tech/Desktop/tetheredboot/tetheredboot –i
/Users/Tech/Desktop/tetheredboot/iBSS.n90ap.RELEASE.dfu -k
/Users/Tech/Desktop/tetheredboot/kernelcache.release.n90
You should now see some code running in the Terminal window, at some point, it will ask you to enter DFU mode. Now follow the following steps to enter DFU mode:
- Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds
- Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds
You device should now be in DFU mode
Now wait for your device to boot, Terminal at this point will be showing “Exiting libpois0n” message. After a short while, your device will be booted in a jailbroken tethered mode !

Booting in Tethered Mode (Windows Users)
Since this is a tethered jailbreak, therefore whenever your iOS device loses power, it will go into the dreaded Apple logo boot screen loop. To get out of that, simply run Redsn0w 0.9.8b4, uncheck “Install Cydia” and instead check “Just boot tethered right now” option and hit “Next” with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connected to your PC (or Mac). And yes, you will have to do this every time when your device reboots or loses power.
WARNING: If you depend on UltraSn0w unlock, you must STAY AWAY from RedSn0w and stock iOS 4.3.5
- Download RedSn0w 0.9.8b4 for Mac [Hotfile / Filesonic ]
- Download RedSn0w 0.9.8b4 for Win [Hotfile / Filesonic ]
- Download iTunes 10.4 for Windows or Mac
- Download PwnageTool 4.3.3.1 for Mac OS X.

After restoring, I cannot login Cydia, I was kicked out from Cydia right after touching its icon.

hello im a little stuck, i have an iphone 3gs ios 4.3.5 i recently tried to jailbreak and upgrade the baseband to the ipad version from 05.16.02 so i could unlock the carrier. i used an old version of redsnow with the option to tick the box for updating to ipad baseband and instal cydia, redsnow kept crashing with both boxes ticked so i unticked install cydia and left ipad update ticked with the intention to go back and install cydia after. so after reboot phone went into recovery mode and now is stuck in the 10XX recovery loop which i tried to get out of with latest tinyumbrella & recboot but its not working ? im stuck in recovery mode. i can get the phone into DFU mode and tried the latest redsnow to jailbreak again but crashes on the downloading data screen ? i cant even use itunes to do a stock recovery because of the ipad baseband so the only thing i havent tried is pointing itunes to a custom 4.3.5 ipsw which i cant find will it work ? sorted it ! i needed to go into pwnd DFU with redsnow, then in itunes ctrl restore and point to custom 4.3.5 ipsw which i downloaded.

I have a problem with my iphone, and i searched everywhere in web for finding a solution but i think here is not anything in public. I thought maybe you have a manual method in hand that I can solve my dramatic problem.
I have an iphone 4 with OS 4.3.5 which is the original one. It is not jailbroken.
I have the security code of my iphone which is for opening and accessing to it. I can access and backup the iphone by itunes too.
Beside I have a computer with an official email address. This coputer is highly protected by password which is the same as the email account.
I had configured the email access on the iphone too.
It is about two weeks that I have forgotten this password (computer hard encryption password = official email password).
I can’t access to the data of the computer which are much important for me as it is secured by this password. I can’t access my email via a computer as I don’t have the mail password (it is the same as the computer one). I can ask for changing the mail address password, but I will lost the computer information yet. So I should find the current password in a way.
The last solution that I have, is finding this password which is configured in MAIL ACCOUNT SETTINGS part of m iphone 4 os 4.3.5 non-jailbroken. (i have the access code of iphone in 4 numbers)
Unfortunately the iphone is not jailbroken that I can read it in clear. I searched everywhere to find a solution; but there is not.
I fear if I jailbreak the iphone in this time to let me reading the password; but during the jailbreak passwords be cleared from iphone memory.
Will you (please) guide me if you have any solution that let me access and view the mail account password in the iphone or in the backup of the iphone ?
